Free your soul starts out with a heavy groove then it turns progressive dream theatre like only for a moment then it’s back to the heavy groove for this song it works out fine.
Beyond the veil- I miss hearing albums with heavy guitars and cool drum grooves. I miss hearing songs with LOUD drums. It’s why as a teenager I bought Megadeth Youthanasia album if I was a teenager again listening to this album I would buy it.
What’s interesting about this album is how it combines, progressive rock and thrash metal on this album it works. I never thought anybody would think of combining those two different music genres. On this album it works. I’m not gonna tell you about every song because it would be an injustice to the album and I have a love-hate relationship with reviews. I’m just one person. It’s my opinion, but I recommend people check out this record. You’re gonna love it and check out every song, there’s no fillers on this album. Every song stands out.
I give credit to the band for not putting any fillers. I think the reason why more people are putting out EP and singles is because songs get left in the mix. It’s an album starts out kicking ass all the way until that last note of the album.
The bands debut album was produced, mixed and mastered by Garret Thomas of Humble Heart Studios, while the brand new cover art, layout and design was done by Scott Waters of NLTM Graphics.
